In 2001, Dahua became the first company in China to launch an 8-channel real-time embedded digital video recorder. According to the IHS 2014 report, Dahua enjoys the second largest global market share in video surveillance; meanwhile, it is the first Chinese corporate in security that established a global technology standard – HDCVI. Furthermore, Dahua ranked 3rd in the A&S International “Security Top 50” in 2017.
